Give it to a suitable name and then choose your Operating system type like Microsoft windows, if you want to run windows on your VM machine or choose other OS instead. You also need to select the version you're going to install on your virtual machine.

Step 4. After doing so click on next. It will then ask you to give a RAM size, assign a size according to your RAM size but I recommend you to assign half of the memory size, minimum size is 512 MB. Now click on next. Leave the selected option as it is. Click on create. Again click on Next leave the selected option as it is. Also leave the Dynamically allocation as it is. Click on Next assign a name and hard drive size to your virtual machine it must be 25 GB at least. Eventually click on create.

Step 5. When you will complete the step 4 it will lead you on the software's main screen, now click on Start and browse the Operating system file you want to install on it. It must be a .iso file or disk image file. After browsing click on start or create button. Follow the operating system general installation process to install it on your VM machine. When you're done with installation you are good to go now.
